ABOUT THE COLLEGE
Harendra-Chitra College, Bhaktardoba (affiliated by Gauhati University) began life as an institution of higher education from 1992-93 under Barpeta District located centrally in wide area which accommodates 3 (Three) Mauzas Paka Mauza, Betbari Mouza and Sarukhetri Mauza under Barpeta District. With a view to established this college a Governing Body was formatted headed by Mr. Mukaddes Ali Ahmed as President and Mr. Muksed Ali Ahmed as Secretary Consisting 35 Members of different places. The Deshbhakta Rural Development Association a prominent NGO of the area first organized a meeting to established a college and accordingly presided over by Mr. Elim Uddin Khan (B.A.B.T.), Headmaster, Paschim-Paka Azad Memorial High School...
WE OFFER THE FOLLOWING COURSES
U.G. (Arts) Semester : Students offering Major have to offer only one general subject and students pursuing General Courses have to offer Two General Subjects from among the combinations offered in addition to Compulsory Subjects.
- MIL (Assamese, Bengali), Alternative, English and Bodo
Application for admission into the courses begin with the notification issued by the Principal immediately after the announcement of respective results. Prospectus for admission can be obtained from the College Office on payment of the prescribed fee and the intending candidates are required to submit the completed Application Forms within prescribed time limit. Application are processed and finalized by the ‘Admission Committee’.
